Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations do not only include being able to play colliegate basketball , but also to graduate with a BSN in nursing . What makes me a great candiate for teams is my ability to adapt , lead and be all around person . Not only has being an older sibling allowed me to take on responsibility and leadership position , but also has allowed me to be a mentor to younger players and help them to succeed in thier goals . What makes me different from other recruits in all aspects is I have had type one diabetes since I was 7 years old . Which has allowed me to face and overcome many obstacles and challeneges in my life .
