Growing up in a family full of athletes contributes to my athleticism. From as far as I can remember I've always participated in many different sports like cheerleading, football, volleyball, and track. The summer going into freshman year I decided to start learning how to play basketball with the help of my uncle. I wasn't very interested or committed to the sport in the beginning. Which I think was mostly due to me not being good at the sport as well as my lack of knowledge for the game. During the summer going in to my sophomore year I started taking basketball a lot more seriously. With lots of practice I went into my sophomore year with experience, a higher IQ, and improvement in every aspect of the game. I struggled with handling the ball as well as controlling my temper on the court. Now going into my senior year, I possess the ability to rebound, pass, score, and defend.
