Hello! My name is Maddie and have been playing sports since Kindergarten. I am a starting captain/goalie on our Varsity soccer team and have been an All-Star the last two years. But, basketball has always been my favorite. I have been a starting Varsity Captian for my High School basketball team since 7th grade. During this time, I have been working on becoming a guard. It has been bumpy through COVID but that didn't stop me from working on my game.
I am a very diverse player and willing to do whatever is needed on the team. I thrive on the physicality ( I may end up with a few fouls) and pressure of the game which makes me a good leader. I continue to work on my game especially focusing on finishing , ball handling, and becoming stronger physically and mentally.
One of the main reason basketball is my favorite is it allows me to help others learn how to play it. I coach Unified basketball as well as youth basketball, seeing the look of accomplishment on the faces of others is very wholesome and rewarding. I strive to get better so I have more to teach others so they can also succeed.
