Tene Smith '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello , my name is Tene Smith and I am a 5'7 PG out of Brampton , On, Canada.  My collegiate goals and aspirations are to play D1 basketball and to study , compete and succeed on and off the court. I believe that I am a good candidate for any team because I am a highly skilled / highly motivated player that puts the team before herself and is dedicated to cultivating and contributing to a winning culture. What makes me different from other recruits in character is that I put the team and others before myself and look to not only see/celebrate my own success but also celebrate the success of my teammates and coaches . When it comes to athletics , I possess great speed at the guard position , I have a tight handle and can shoot from deep and finish at the rim . I have great court vision and love to make winning passes and plays that lead to my teams success . In terms of academics , I strive to be the best I can in my classes and compete just as hard in the classroom as I do on the hardwood. I am consistently on the schools Honor Roll. These are all reasons that I believe I would be a valuable asset to any coaches roster.
