I guess you could say I started late in the game. I've played basketball all my life in school and for fun, but it wasn't untill my first year in highschool, when I made the team that I realized I loved the game. That's when I made the switch from soccer to basketball. I am currently on a rep team and have a private trainor to get me to where I need to be. I realized that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. I would spend all day and every day in the gym and on the court if I could. I aspire to play basketball in college with the hopes of one day playing in the WNBA. I look up to Candace Parker, Liz Cambage, A'ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum and so many more. I hope that one day young girls and athletes will look up to me and be inspired to accomplish thier highest, goals, hopes and dreams. I know what it means to struggle and I've had to overcome hard times and challenges many times in my life. And still do, like so many others. Through the struggles and hardtimes I've learned that the best way to overcome them is to stay positive, hopeful and optimistic. If you believe in yourself you can and will accomplish anything you set your mind to. I like to pride myself in believing that I am mentally tough. I can push through and overcome anything I set my mind to. I am determined and never give up. I've never known myself to be a quitter. I want the best for myself and my teammates. I 've always dreamed of playing on a team that supports one another, builds eachother up encourages one another, like a family. I want to be a player that makes other players better. I am a hardworker, a fast learner, and I am easy to work with. I am eager to learn and excited about my college basketball journey.
I take my education seriously. I am interseted in sciences and medicine. I am a hardworking student and always do my best. I love to learn new things. I set goals and strive to accomplish them.
Overall, I am a team player, a hard worker, I have a sense of humor and a positive attitude. I love the game of basketball!
