Marissa AlmontePersonal Statement
My name is Marissa Almonte, and I am in the class of 2020. My primary position is point guard and I take pride in being a leader on and off the court. I consider myself a well-rounded student: I have a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do; played Striker on an All Star travel soccer team that toured Italy; and was recently inducted into my school’s National Honor Society.
My passions include my family, school and basketball. I am hungry, humble and I love the journey. My favorite motto is “Hard work pays off.”
