My name is Sydni Nicholson, and my goal is to play Division 1 college basketball while earning my degree and growing both on and off the court. I’ve been in love with the game since I was around five, and every day I’m working to turn that passion into purpose.
What makes me a strong candidate for a collegiate program is my versatility, work ethic, mindset and a very high basketball IQ developed by studying and understanding the game. I’m a true combo guard, who can effectively run the point or play off the ball. I handle pressure, control tempo, and see the floor well—consistently finding scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates. I take pride in being a two-way player: attacking on offense and bringing intensity and disruption on defense.
But what separates me isn’t just my game—it’s my drive and discipline. I’m a 4.0 GPA student, a member of the National Junior Honor Society, and someone who believes in leading by example. I don’t take shortcuts. I compete with purpose, and I carry myself with character on and off the court.
I live by the mindset: “I never lose, I either win or learn.” I’m always growing, always working, and fully committed to becoming the best version of myself—for my team, my future, and this game I love.
