Sasha Gisi '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become a member of a collegiate dive team that focuses on competition, unity, and academic excellence. As a prior level 9 gymnast, I have used my athleticism, competitive nature, and strong work ethic to successfully transition to the sport of springboard and platform diving. I qualified for Zones in 2023 on 3m and am confident that my ambition and talent will continue to result in even greater outcomes. A primary reason that I want to dive in college is so that I can continue to learn, develop, and reach my full potential.

I am a loyal teammate and have been told multiple times that my hard work and dedication push my teammates to be their best. I was honored to be chosen as captain of my club team at the 2022 AAU Nationals. In addition to strong leadership skills, I have had exposure to high level competition through my JO gymnastics career and can handle the pressures of being an athlete while balancing academics. I believe that my passion for diving, my strong work ethic, and my desire to have fun while competing make me an ideal teammate for a college level dive team.
