Sydney Fuke '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Sydney and I am a sophomore from Kailua, Hawaii. I attend Punahou school and have always strived to do well academically. My goal is to play golf at a competitive collegiate level. I have been playing golf since I was six years old. I have been playing sports for as long as I can remember, and enjoyed baseball and soccer. Baseball taught me how to strike the ball well from a young age, and ball striking has always been a strength of mine. However, my short game still requires more work which is something I have been focusing on in the past few years to bring down my scoring average. Golf has taught me the value of patience, hard work, and focus. My best score was a 70 (-2) at Grayhawk Golf Club at the Brophy Rodeo Tournament. Thank you for reading my personal statement.
