Taylor Cotter '22 Recruiting Profile

As a Senior,  I am currently finishing up my high school golf career at Sacred Heart Academy in Mount Pleasant, MI.   Sacred Heart Academy is a private Catholic high school in the middle of Michigan.  We are home to Central Michigan University, Fire Up Chips! My family and I love to attend the local high school and college level sporting events.  I am searching for an opportunity on a college level golf team that can see my growth potential and provides the structure and commitment of a smaller school. 

I started my golf career just as a Sophomore, with only family golf outings prior to that. I quickly learned I love the sport and have committed to improving my strokes over the past 2 years. Last year I took the winter to continue private golf lessons and utilized our virtual golf simulator, dedication allowed me to shaved double digits off my game.  This year we were able to win our Regionals and make it to the State Playoff at MSU for my third consecutive year.  During my 2021 regional match I posted a personal best only to out do myself in the first and second day of the State Playoffs.

Though I realize you have many options, if you are reading this, I hope you will see the desire, drive, and commitment I can bring to your team.  I fully intend to play golf the rest of my life but my dream is compete at the University level.
