Personal Statement
My name is Madison (Maddie) Munley. I am a dedicated and hardworking athlete who strives to become better everyday on and off the court. My most important accomplishments were being named 2nd team All State as a Junior and being named All Region as a Sophomore. I have been on the varsity volleyball team at Sacred Heart Academy since my Freshmen year. I have also played club ball for the past 5 years and currently play for MI Elite.
Knowing that I’m capable of playing volleyball in college makes me more passionate for this sport and makes me work hard every day to improve. What I can offer to a team is the promise to work hard and never give up. I am athletic so I am willing to try new positions if it works better for the team. I also promise to lift up my teammates so they can be the best they can be. I am a very positive and encouraging teammate.
I am mainly looking at schools in the midwest states (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc.), but I am willing to relocate anywhere. I aspire to go to a college that fits me best academically and gives me the greatest opportunity as both a student and an athlete. As of right now, I am looking to pursue a degree in elementary education.
My athletic goals are to continue to play the game of volleyball and continue to get better every day both on and off the court.
