August 2020Personal Statement
I have only been playing competitive golf since 2017 with my high school team. Before tryouts in 2017, I played for the Junior PGA at the legends country club in Eureka, Mo but I was not playing my own ball. I started playing my own ball the day tryouts started my freshman year and I made the junior varsity team. That year I was the only player on the team that played in every tournament and match we were in. Since then I have played on the varsity team and lowered my average from the 105-110 range to an average of 92. I have only continued to improve and strive to practice at least 2 times a week if not more. I am very hardworking and set high expectations for myself that I aim to pass every day. I am as hardworking on the golf course as I am in the classroom, I take classes the challenge me every day because I want to be the best version of myself. I may not seem like the ideal athlete that you're looking for, but given the chance, I will surely surprise you and continue to do so for my personal goals and the good of the team.

- ActivitiesI am in Best buddies, HOSA and competed in the competition, French club, E!crew which is our schools club to help freshman learn how high school works, and I volunteer around my community. For instance, I helped sandbag local restaurants whenever our town flooded and I regularly volunteer at the local nursing home whenever I am not working.
