Alexandria Bernier '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing competitive golf since 2012.  And since then I have finished 3rd in the Saskatchewan Summer Games for individual and helped the team also win the bronze.  At that time I joined the Maple Junior Tour (MJT).  During that time, and until now, I have placed 1st and a 3rd.  In the Provincial play, I finished 4th in 2014.  Provincial High School also seen me place a 4th.  I have never been professionally coached and now I am looking for a university that will help better my game of golf through the professional coaching that is available.

I will be working with GolfTec in Saskatoon during the 2014/15 winter months to help better my game also.  I feel that if I am given the opportunity to play at a high competitive golf level, that my game will only improve.

While I have not finalized the major that I would like to pursue, I am hopeful that the correct University will assist me in making a decision so I can go forward with my life after school and golf.

I have a natural swing and have been measured to have a 90 mile an hour swing through technology at Golftec.  My driving distance is averaged to be around 250 yards.  I have driven the ball 300 yards at times.  I have an ability in chipping from around the green.  

In school, I am averaging about 80-85%, but will be bringing that average higher as I feel my academics are very important for my future.  I am a good listener in the classroom and try to accomplish what the teacher has instructed.
