Julia Adams '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Julia Kate Adams.  I am a senior at Goodpasture Christian School and have been a member of the varsity golf team since I was in the 8^th grade.  The thing I enjoy the most about golf is being a part of the team environment.  I enjoy competing and helping the team to be the best that we can be.  But above all, I like the friendships that are made during practices and matches that carry over into everyday life.  I play tournament golf in the offseason and enjoy traveling to play courses that I don't get to play during the school season.  I spend time in private lessons every week and have consistently improved each year.

In my personal life, I enjoy being part of the youth group at my church and doing group activities including going on mission trips.  I am on the student council at my high school and a member of the national honor society.  I am taking several dual enrollment classes so I can get a head start on my college education as well.  I want a balanced college experience and attend a college where I can play golf and contribute to the team, be a part of the campus life and at the same time get a quality education for a future career.  I want to compete for championships and build relationships that will last even after graduation.
