I played my first golf competition when I was fourteen. One year later, during my first year on the Atlee High School golf team, as a sophomore I competed in the girl's regional tournament and qualified for the state tournament. My junior year I competed at the coed regional tournament and qualified for the second round as an individual. I am the only girl on my high school team, but I love playing golf and being part of the team as we all push each other and cheer on each others successes. Each year my golf game has improved, and I want to continue to develop my golf skills. I think my best golf is ahead of me. I love playing golf. I participated in other sports, and am a three year letterman on the Atlee High School tennis team, but golf is the sport I am passionate about. While I am attending college to get a business degree and start my post school career, I am excited about the opportunity to continue to improve my golf skills through continued coaching and competing. Golf has taught me good sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork. I use these things to not only help me succeed athletically but also academically.
