Playing girls' ice hockey in Southern California has presented its challenges, whether it be the lack of players, long drives to practices, or having to fly out of state just to play a game. Despite the scarcity of opportunities, overcoming these obstacles has shaped me into the athlete I am today. My inspiration sparked in 5th grade when I witnessed my older brother take to the ice for his high school team. Now, I also play for that same high school team, Pacific Ridge, as well as a Girls club team, San Diego Angels.

While my introduction to skating came later than some, I have had an innate love for the game. I seize every chance to refine my skills, whether it's through training sessions, shooting pucks in my backyard, practices, games, or simply watching a Leafs game with my dad. Balancing commitments to both my high school varsity team and the San Diego Angels has taught me invaluable lessons in time management, perseverance, and dedication, both on and off the ice.

Despite the demands of my athletic pursuits, I maintain a stellar academic record, maintaining a 4.25 GPA at a rigorous private school. Alongside my studies, I actively engage in extracurricular activities such as teaching at my synagogue and playing lacrosse in the spring. These endeavors, combined with countless hours spent at the rink, showcase my unwavering commitment to my personal growth and excellence.

With each passing year, my hockey skills continue to evolve, reflecting my unwavering dedication and determination. I am confident that my coaches would attest to my value as a player and teammate. I believe that I would bring a unique blend of athleticism, leadership, and academic prowess to your school and team, and I am eager for the opportunity to contribute both on and off the ice to your team.
