I have remained determined to play lacrosse on a college team ever since I started playing. When I started playing, I was shy, didn’t have many friends, and never left my room. Playing lacrosse has opened me up to many opportunities and has helped me connect with people in everyday life or on the teams I play on. When I moved to Alabama in July of 2022 with my active duty parent, no lacrosse team was near me. I went almost a year without playing on a team when we finally found one in Birmingham. I have to travel 3 hours to practice but it is worth it! All of the coaches that I have worked with have been a pleasure and hopefully, I can finally work with a college coach and be on their team.
