Claire Meyers '27 Recruiting Profile

I love sports and I particularly love lacrosse. Practically from the moment I picked up a stick, I felt at one with the game. I am a player that is not complacent. I actively seek to gain new skills and better my game for the benefit of my team and me. I excel at the game when I play with players that work as a team and I have coaches that bring new ideas and skills to my game. I can always find a new thing to learn. This past year with my club team, I learned that a close team that knows each others' strengths and works together is able to beat another team with better skills that do not play as a team. Conversely, my high school team taught me perseverance as I worked with a team of new players learning the game. I am a selfless player that looks to improve my teammates' games as much as my own. I am a starter attack on my club team and a starter attack/midfielder/draw specialist on my varsity high school team. I was the only freshman on varsity and selected as an All Star.
