I am Avery Brooks, and I will graduate high school in 2025. I’ve been playing lacrosse for almost my whole life after being inspired by watching my cousin play in college at Rutgers, although I started playing club in 5th grade. I have a love for all things athletic, as I spend my time playing lacrosse, field hockey, wrestling, or just working out at the gym. I also devote some of my time to volunteering to coach youth lacrosse alongside my club coaches. When I’m not doing something involving athletics, I like to spend time with my friends and family, as well as work on my school work.As a freshman, I played on both JV and Varsity towards the end of the season, being there to support my team for the last few games of the regular season as well as the playoffs. As a sophomore, I became a varsity starter, stepping up as both a defender and a midfielder as needed.
