I was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida and have been rowing for Sarasota Crew since elementary school. I hope to row in college so I can pursue my goal of going to medical school and becoming a physician.
I attend Pine View School for the Gifted, one of the top-ranked schools in the nation. I take all advanced and AP classes and have maintained a perfect 4.0 unweighted GPA since elementary school. I excel in sciences, math, history and writing.
When I am not rowing or studying, I am passionate about mentoring and advocating for girls. I am the founder of Career Connect for Girls, a club that finds successful role models in my community to inspire girls to pursue their ambitions and I am a youth volunteer at my church. I have also been volunteering at Sarasota Memorial Hospital since middle school.
In addition to my rowing achievements, I am also a gold medal winner in the Science Olympiad, a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa, history honor society, and community service club Peace Jam.
