Hi,
I’m Gabby Lamontagne and I’m an ninth-grade student at Mountain Brook Junior High. As a younger child, I explored many sports until I tried soccer, and this is where I first connected with the ball that set off my soccer journey. It honestly started out slow and at the time, had a few health setbacks. However, I loved soccer and didn’t want to give up on the sport or myself. Quitting is not me. I kept working at it and added other training styles like futsal, Teqball, Panna and conditioning into the mix to ultimately enhance my soccer ability and develop as a player. I am a hard worker and always open to new ways of improving as well as strengthening my technical abilities on the ball. I know my work ethic, commitment and discipline on the field and in the classroom will serve me well to become the best I can be to attend a school that is the right fit for me and vice versa.
It is important to me to keep my grades up and develop ways of balancing both education and sport because being a student athlete is a big part of who I am.
