My name is Sunney Merida.  I attend Xavier College Prep and I am a attacking midfielder as well as an defensive midfielder.  I am a very passionate and dedicated person. Since I was eight years old, I have played soccer, and I immediately developed a passion for it. Similarly, I understood that when I grew older, I wanted to play at a high level. At the collegiate level, I want to challenge myself to the limit and learn from other players. I'm a leader both on and off the field, I always push myself in practice, and I work hard at everything I do. Nothing  keeps me from achieving the goals I set.  My ability to communicate well helps me to fully comprehend my teammates, which builds strong trust. I have good spatial awareness as well as good technique. In terms of academics, I work really hard at school and aim for the highest grades.  I participate frequently in several school activities in addition to taking AP and Honors classes.
