I have been running since I was 11 years old and during my freshman year, it became a goal of mine to participate in college track. My hopes are to attend a college that will provide me with opportunities on the track along within the classroom. Through my experience on the track, I have discovered competitiveness that has helped me challenge myself as an athlete, friend, and student. Track has helped me to obtain important skills such as time management, teamwork, leadership, and a desire to compete in all facets of my life. The confidence in competing and the discipline the sport demands continue to make me humble as I develop as a woman.
