Personal Statement

My name is Riley Katz and I am a sophomore on the varsity at North Hollywood High School in the Los Angeles area. I also play for the LA Bulls.  My primary position is as a center defensive midfielder or as a center midfielder, but am happy to fill in wherever my coach needs. I pride myself on being reliable, dependable, and highly coachable with a strong soccer IQ. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and can't get enough of playing and watching soccer (go Man City!). I feel that I am just now starting to hit my stride physically; getting stronger and stronger every year. I have recently found a love and interest in running and and am competing for my high school varsity track team in the 400m and 800m events. I would love to be able to continue my soccer career by playing in college.
