My name is Tanya Trodden, and I am a 2026 student-athlete looking to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level. Soccer has been a defining part of my life, shaping my work ethic, leadership skills, and competitive spirit. I am eager to find a program where I can contribute both on and off the field while growing as a player, student, and person.
As a center midfielder, I pride myself on my vision, passing accuracy, speed, defensive awareness. I feel my ability to read the game, distribute the ball, and finish in the final third makes me a valuable asset to my team. I have played for multiple clubs and my high school soccer team, where I have been selected as a team captain on both squads.
What I feel sets me apart as an athlete is my relentless work ethic. I embrace every challenge, whether it's extra training sessions, film study, or pushing myself in the weight room. I strive to be a servant leader while encouraging my teammates, maintaining a positive mindset, and setting high standards for myself and others.
Off the field, I am just as dedicated to my academics. I currently hold a 4.2 GPA and take pride in my ability to balance schoolwork with my training schedule. I plan to pursue a degree in biology, and I am looking for a college that will challenge me both athletically and academically.
Beyond my stats, I believe my character is what truly sets me apart. I thrive in competitive environments and understand the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Whether it's overcoming a tough loss or leading by example in practice, I always push myself to be better than I was the day before. I am looking for a program where I can contribute to my team and my teammates' success while continuing to develop as a player. I want to be part of a culture that values hard work, accountability, and a winning mentality.
