Hello! My name is Julia Tierney. I play for Real Colorado 2005 G ECNL team. I attend Regis Jesuit High School where I will graduate in 2023. I have been playing soccer since 3 years old and it has always been my free space, a place I can go to let it all out. Although I love playing the game, what comes with it is the best part. The friendships and sisters you make along the way truly keep me going. I love the pace of the game and how it makes me feel when I’m on the field. Soccer has been so much more than a way to stay fit, It’s about the competitive thrill and personal progress you gain through the years. Through my time as a soccer player I have faced many setbacks but this only made me want to work harder. I have worked with numerous coaches to get stronger, faster, and smarter at the game. Continuing to play soccer in college is one of my biggest dreams as I want to continue to learn from those around me. I believe that watching your teammates and people around you succeed is one of the best feelings ever. Soccer has taught me how to work hard which has transferred over to school as well. Attending a catholic schools means a total of 175 service hours to graduate. Not only has this bettered me as a person but it was definitely an eye opener. It made me want to continue my studies and my school and to work even harder as many people do not have these opportunities and for that I am beyond thankful. My journey to this spot now is one filled with dedication, but I could not be happier and I can't wait to see what is next for me!
