I have grown up as part of a sports loving family. I began playing sports when I was 4 years old, beginning first with softball. Local churches offered soccer and basketball and I quickly grew a love for playing all three. As I have grown older, soccer easily became my favorite. Of all three sports, I have to work the hardest at soccer and find it the most rewarding.
I began playing Club Soccer in 7th Grade and dropped softball once I began high school to focus more on school and soccer. I still continue to play basketball for my high school. During my soccer club training, my love for the sport grew and I also loved that I gained new friendships. Throughout both middle and high school, I devote my time first to academics. With free time outside of scheduled practices, I work on strength and conditioning or additional individual technical training.
I would love the opportunity to continue playing soccer in college. After college I hope to work as a Physical Therapist in a Specialized Rehab Facility, such as a spine center.
