Personal Statement

Soccer has been a part of my life since I was four years old. It has taught me that through hard work and perseverance, I can accomplish anything. Soccer has provided me many opportunities. I have been on the Maryland ODP team for five years, and three of these years I was selected for the East Region team. I have traveled internationally with the Maryland ODP team, the East Region team as well as my club team to compete in Barcelona (2017), Amsterdam (2019) and Madrid & Valencia (2019). I was also selected for the 2020 CCL United team to play in the Gothia Cup but it was unfortunately cancelled due to the pandemic.

Soccer has also taught me to be a leader as well as a team player. I can’t wait to continue my soccer career in college.
