Personal Statement

I haven't been playing soccer for a long time but I knew as soon as I stepped on the field that I wanted to play college ball. I love the team aspect of soccer, on and off the field, because you get to meet new people and make some lifelong friendships. Soccer helps me strive academically and as a person. I love playing soccer because I love that as soon as you step on the field that you have 10 other people behind you, supporting you, and playing for the same thing. Soccer is an outlet for me to be able to release anything else that is going on in my life, it allows me the opportunity to put it all to the side and play this amazing sport.

Rarely over or under hits the ball. Defending - Aggressive as a defender. Good footwork and positioning, and seems to enjoy the 1v1 battles. Tactical Abilities - 84 / 100 Reading The Game - Does well seeing the first level of pressure and making appropriate decision on the ball. Defensive Awareness - Understands team defensive schemes, shows understanding of positioning and angles. Physical Abilities - 84 / 100 Speed - Great speed overall, in particular when running into space. Will be an important asset going forward. Strength - Did a good job handling challenges and played well shoulder-to-shoulder. Mental Abilities - 84 / 100 Competitiveness - Showed a strong desire to win and seems to enjoy the competition. Keep working hard! Coachable - Responds well to coaching. Asked good questions and seemed to enjoy the learning process. Coach's Comments Kelleigh has a fantastic attitude and was a pleasure to have during camp. Her work rate and desire to improve set her apart from the other players on her team. With hard work and continued development, she will have a great career. Try to keep the ball closer when taking it out of the air. Work to step out and support the #6 when play moves away from your team's first third. You're better & have more of an impact than you realize.
