My name is Sierra Mitchell and I am a sophomore at Ewing High School, Ewing New Jersey. My GPA right now is 3.8/4.0.
I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I have been on a Hopewell rec team since I have started, and I still continue to be on that team. And even though I'm not on an official club soccer team, I have done some club soccer training for NLSA (next level soccer association) during the summer for a few years. During my freshman year of high school, I got to play on both the JV and Varsity teams, then this past season I played on just the varsity team. My high school soccer team was coached by Shannon Pederson and she has been amazing. She has pushed me to my limits to get better and to be a better soccer player than I ever was before. Also, the support of my teammates on and off the field has been great. Right now I am in a volunteering activity for soccer, and I get to train 4 and 5-year-olds, to play and be outdoors. It is such a fun experience and I would definitely do it again.
I am a competitive and dedicated athlete, and I believe that I can be a great asset to a college soccer team one day.
