Personal Statement

ATTENTION ALL COACHES!  After watching many many college games, I have no doubt that my particular skill set would add tremendous value to any top team and help that team gain success.  That's because my passion and love of soccer comes down to POSSESSION!  I am a center mid fielder who prides herself on opening up the game, creating flow, opportunities and distribution - all while maintaining calm and composure.  Add to that my fierce competitive wiring, superior soccer IQ and  technical play.  I always play with heart, am a great teammate and always raise the level of play when I step onto the field.

I am a 10th grade 2018 graduate and have played on several high level teams in my life.  The adversity that I had to overcome and deal with has made me a better, stronger player and person, whether I’m at the top and maintaining that position or working my way to get there.  I am a very hard worker and everything matters to me.  Whether it's a practice, a friendly, fitness or a game, I always give 110% effort.  I have a very high work-rate and am very easy to coach.  Since I have had many coaches and teams, I’ve been able to learn different styles and easily acclimate when meeting new people.  I am very friendly and I think I am funny.  My positive attitude, even when losing, which I hate because I am very competitive, helps me pump my team up and tell them we can push through.

I also apply these same skills and effort into my academics. I work hard to do well in school and take initiative if I need help.  I have a 3.6 GPA.   My dream is to play for a college team that appreciates and plays high level, technical soccer while attending a great academic school.

  • Futsal
  • 4 years
  • I love playing futsal. It offers an added layer to my game. To be successful in futsal you must have great foot skills, technique and ball control. The small field means lots of pressure so you must settle the ball quickly, cut sharp, use your body, and make quick decisions to pass and move. For my futsal game, it's key not to be flustered under the pressure and to then make bad decisions. I like holding the ball when I can, to use my IQ and vision to make the best play possible. Although I play center mid on the big field, I play the position of a center back, called a "PIVOT" and like a successful center mid, the "pivot" acts as the quarterback, looking to set things up. I'm in the best position to see the whole field and I direct the game play. It's also an opportunity for me to utilize my natural sense of defense. It's in my wiring and it comes very easy to me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
