My name is Hayden Murdock and I am a student athlete graduating in 2026, with the desire to play soccer at the NCAA level. My goals include attending a four- year university to major in Sports Medicine, Kinesiology, or Exercise Physiology.
I am a versatile defensive player, but my primary position is "Center Back", for which I currently play on my high school and club team. I have been a starter on the varsity team since my freshman year, and lettered in the sport for outstanding performance in 2022. I have excellent work ethic and strong leadership skills. I was elected team captain on my club team for two years. I have attended a few ID and College Showcase Camps to improve upon my skills, by training and competing in small-sided games before college coaches. I greatly appreciated the acknowledgment of my strengths, in addition to the constructive feedback on my areas of improvement from the coaches. My top priorities include my coursework, trying to maintain a balance between my academics and athletics, and continuing to get better each day as a soccer player. My current GPA is a 3.5, but I am working very hard to improve it.
My hobbies include reading, playing soccer for my high school and club teams, attending professional women's soccer games, and traveling. I recently became a certified referee with the Eastern Pennsylvania Soccer Association so that I can learn all aspects of the sport that I love so much. I am a good candidate for a college soccer team because I am a team player with a positive attitude, easily coachable, and enjoy being part of a strong defensive unit that celebrates the wins but learns from the losses.
