As the youngest player starting during my Freshman year, I played a vital role in helping guide us to our first District semi-final in a decade. I was chosen as Rookie of the Year and was named to the Region All-Star team. That, along with being a two-time winner of our states Open Championship, is a special highlight of my soccer career. Playing up two age groups, as an 11-year-old playing U14 and a 13-year-old playing U16, helped me grow as a player both mentally and physically. The opportunity to play against older and more skilled opponents helped me realize that I had the focus, ability, and proper attitude to not only compete, but excel in a challenging setting.
With the majority of my high school teammates also playing on those championship teams, I am fortunate to be part of an amazing group of girls. I have learned the value of teamwork. I have shown the value of commitment. I feel myself growing as a leader, and I understand the sacrifice that it takes to be all of those things to my current and future teammates.
I am looking for a college program that will be a good fit for me athletically, while also focusing on my desired areas of study academically. I believe I have the talent and discipline to compete for a college team. I also believe that my character, work-ethic, and leadership skills will have an immediate impact on your team.
As a three-sport athlete, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
