Marlene Samuels '23 Recruiting Profile

I’m not 100% set on where I want to go to school, and I wouldn’t mind leaving Tennessee for college. I’m hoping college provides me with a new sense of independence and community. I am very dedicated to my teammates, coaches, trainers and athletic facility for once I commit to a team. I love going above and beyond for celebrations or special occasions, and enjoy the structure of having an athletic schedule. I’m naturally a leader within groups even though I tend to be shy at the beginning. I also bring a positive, fun and excited mood to the field or gym while locking in a sense of accountability and responsibility. I’m all about having fun on the field while still maintaining a rigorous and structured training environment.
