Personal Statement
“Nothing in life that’s worth anything is easy”. -
I see myself pursuing a career in business management, and I have a particular interest in finance and marketing. My goals in high school and college are to be the best athlete and student I can be. When it comes to soccer, I enjoy being the person that stops the others team's attack. The person who wins the ball and distributes it to create a new opportunity. Through playing soccer I have learned how to handle pressure and stress in tough moments; such as, starting in big showcase games, having to work hard to make a comeback after being down a goal at halftime, or even just needing to be a helpful player that keeps working hard when the team isn't at their best. As a student, playing competitive soccer has helped teach me time management, and how to prioritize my days so I can be successful on the field and in the classroom. I also want to play college soccer because it will allow me to experience a different coaching style. I'm most looking forward to playing as I'll be playing with people I've never played with before who share my ambitions and interests. I'm seeking a college that can educate me on how to manage athletics and academics while also teaching me valuable life lessons.
