I am a leader on and off the field. I have been the editor of my high school's newspaper since my sophomore year. I am in charge of creating stories, deadlines and layouts. I also have to make sure the rest of the staff is doing their jobs along with myself.
In soccer, I have a strong mindset and show mental toughness on the field by not giving up on the play. I have strong technical skills which I continue to work on at every level and with every team. I have outstanding foot-skills and I excel at passing and striking the ball. No matter where I am on the field, I have learned to suggest where the ball should go next and to tell my teammates what I see around them. I look to move the ball fast up and down the field to keep possession and always finishing. I always support my teammates. I feel that I am looked up to by other players and display true leadership skills. I love to learn how to improve my game from all of my coaches and teammates. I will always give 100% and will continue to develop in the next chapter of my life!
I dream to continue my career in writing by majoring in a broadcast journalism/communications at a school that I am also capable of pursuing my soccer career.
