We have had the opportunity to coach Madison Glisson for the last year, which included outdoor seasons, a number of several indoor (7 v 7) teams, and 3 Futsal Seasons at the U15/16/17G level of play. The majority of teams we played against were Travel or High School Level. The Spirit Team won several outdoor tournaments, indoor, and Futsal Championships. Maddie came to our team via Beach FC Technical Director recommendation, who stated she had potential, needed some technical work, and asked if we could help her grow and learn as a player. We definitely saw potential. She was strong, had a strong shot, and good attitude. She needed to work on her ball skills (dribbling, trapping, moves). As each season progressed, her level of play increased, and she became an integral member of the team. In the last few months, she took it up another level and dedicated herself to improve in all aspects of soccer. She has undertaken excellent training instruction and has significantly improved all aspects of ball skills. She has a natural, powerful shot and increased her accuracy exponentially. She can shoot from several yards outside the penalty box and put the ball accurately in the upper reaches of the goal. She also has become a "student" of the game and is one of best players we have seen with great "game sense." She is a versatile player, able to play defense, midfield and forward, when needed. She has become a significant force on our team, and she is still continuing to improve. She will make a definite contribution to any high-level team that she plays for. We recommend her highly.
