Personal Statement

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile page,

I have been playing soccer since I was little, developing every year while enjoying the game and making new friends. Primarily, I have played defense in both the center back and outside back positions throughout my career, with outside back being my strongest area. I have learned to run the edge of the field to become part of the offense and create new lanes, aiding to the speed and intensity of the game. I can equally track down players in the defending third of the field and regain possession. My current club coach has been playing me at mid-field and outside striker as I have a strong strike that he has been trying get more into the game. I also have great placement on my corner kicks as my teammates scored 3 out of 5 in our spring games. So far in my recent seasons I've scored 6 goals from the outside back position and assisted on many more and I'm 8 out of 8 on penalty kicks. I have enduring speed, quick feet, and can use both my left and right foot accurately to pass or shoot. I made varsity at my high school this last season and was a swinger in my prior season. I was one of the first off the bench to give the seniors on defense a rest. For coaches that are interested in me, I am still developing as a player and have improved each year and have yet to reach my full potential, but I will continue to work hard and move in a positive direction.

I'm still working to improve my upper body strength to enable me to have a longer, more direct throw in, and my foot work with the ball to have cleaner, quicker touches, and more confidence to carry the ball when an opportunity is presented. As a player I like playing for a positive motivator, someone who believes in me, that is the coach who will get the most out of me.

When I'm not traveling the NW for soccer I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, lake time, gym, and spending time with family and friends.
