Personal Statement
I love to swim. It is my favorite sport. I will continue to swim in college whether I am recruited or not. I am a good freestyler in all distances. My second best stroke is fly. I am trying to improve my backstroke so that is a close second or third to freestyle.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. All classes at Norfolk Academy are considered Honors classes. Advanced classes in which I am enrolled are Algebra II-Trig BC and Spanish V. Norfolk Academy does not offer AP classes. However, I am studying outside of school to take the AP Spanish Language and AP Western Europe tests in May 2023. I will also take the AP Music Theory and AP U.S. History test in May 2024. I plan to take the AP Calculus BC and AP English Language test in May 2025. All of this requires studying outside of school.Are you in AP/IB classes?

- AwardsNational Latin Exam Magna Cum Laude Level 2, Selected for the Global Affairs Fellowship (GAF) program. Only six people per class are selected to participate in this three-year long program. It takes a class period and involves analyzing global trends and solving current global problems with respect to the environment, immigration, poverty, and culture.
- ActivitiesPiano and Irish dance. I have achieved high levels of recognition in piano with Superior ratings in many competitions throughout the year. I have been performing piano for ten years. I also accompany a large church choir in Williamsburg and play for the interlude and prelude of church services as requested. I danced for eight years and competed in the North American Irish Dance Championships in July 2022 in Montreal. I am a qualified National-level Irish dancer with the CLRG dance association, the largest, oldest, and most competitive association in the world.
