I started playing tennis with my family as an activity we could all do and enjoy, after a few months of playing I was hooked and started doing the summer tennis camp at Boar's Head Sports Club. This was all right before my freshman year of high school. After my first season on my school's varsity team, I knew that team tennis was something that I wanted for my college years as well. Being able to play at the collegiate level would be an immense opportunity and I have the drive and capacity to be a meaningful part of that opportunity. I have come a long way from just starting tennis to now be a competitive athlete. I have great dynamism on court and an understanding of the game which make me a great tennis player. My intelligence has allowed me to obtain the techniques of tennis while also maintaining a high GPA. In school I work hard and always try my best to understand the material I'm learning. I am currently a member of the National Honor Society as well as our school's National English Honor Society chapter and I am a leader of our school's Science National Honor Society chapter. My drive and commitment in the classroom translates onto the court which gives me the ability to progress at a rapid rate as a player still relatively new to sports. I push myself on the court and in the classroom for high school and I would love to continue doing so in college.
