I have been playing tennis since I was big enough to hold a tennis racquet. For my first Christmas, when I was 11 months old, my dad gave me a tennis racquet. The tennis racquet was taller than I was. He and I would play nerf tennis in the living room until I was big enough to get on the real tennis court. Since then, I have regularly been on the tennis court numerous times a week. Tennis is a part of my everyday life. I have always had a desire to play college tennis and I am excited to pursue and accomplish this goal.
I am self-motivated, a hard-worker, an energetic individual, with a desire to excel. I approach every task as a challenge to do the best I can. I am currently a high school junior who attends Liberty University Online Academy. When I graduate high school in 2025 I will also have completed an associates degree in business. I love to be organized and accomplish tasks at hand, whether that is on the court or in the classroom.
When I am not on the tennis court or working hard at my studies, I enjoy spending time with my family and my pets in Ohio. I enjoy reading novels and I absolutely love to cook. I often prepare dinner for my family and I like to create my own healthy protein packed treats.
Besides my 5 or 6 days a week tennis training, I also have a fitness plan that involves weight lifting, cardio, yoga and pilates.
Although I have been playing tennis almost my entire 17 years, I began playing tournaments 2 years ago. My Coach of 7+ years wanted to instill good muscle memory form in my strokes before competing, so that has been our approach. I absolutely love hitting and competing.
I look forward to achieving my goal by being a part of a women’s collegiate tennis team. I want to play tennis at a level that challenges me and requires me to be the best that I can be. I look forward to being a reliable, dedicated teammate, both on and off the court.
