Hello:
My name is Alana Wilson, and I will be graduating ahead of my class early in December 2025 from The Maclay School in ²Tallahassee, Florida (CLASS OF 2025). I have been a sprinter on our HS Varsity team for 6 years. I was recently classified as a Jr but my academics placed me ahead and will now graduate early and will be enrolling in college in January 2026 and ready to join a track team.
I have been blessed to have family friends who are Olympic Track Athletes that mentor and have worked with me on my personal development over the past several years. As a result of this, I WILL BE TEAM READY and well prepared for Track & Field competition at the College level on day one.
While in the 9TH & 10TH GRADE, I raced at the Florida HS State Championships in 4 events and placed in 2 of the events. My split on 4X100 m relay was 11.01. On 4X400 m relay my split was 55.01.
During my 10th Grade season (2024) I was Ranked 4th in Florida (Class of 2026 @ 200m). I was ranked 2nd in Florida (Class of 2026) @ 400m. While in the 10th Grade in 2024, I was utilized in 5 different events (100,400,200,4x100,4x400) and CONTRIBUTED (315 POINTS) to our Track team during the entire season.
I also like to stay on top of my academics. I enjoy challenging myself in and outside of the classroom. Being in a College Prep School taking all Honors courses (Maclay School Tallahassee, FL) is an awesome way to prepare me for the next level. My GPA for my Freshman and Sophomore year was 4.0. I was awarded top scholar-athlete at the Maclay School in Tallahassee Florida. In the 10th GRADE (100-200-400-4x100-4x400) I was awarded 1st TEAM N Florida,1st TEAM All-Big Bend Florida,1st TEAM All Panhandle Florida,1st TEAM Tallahassee Leon County Florida and MVP FLORIDA HS. STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS. My biggest accomplishment is being a 2 time Nike All-American. In 2025 I made FL HS all State honors in 3 events
I have a set goal of continuing my sprinting career in college. I am always open to all opportunities that I can get. I don't back down from challenges. I am highly competitive. " MY STATEMENT IS I WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE"

- As a HS Feshman I ran 3 events in the Nike Outdoor Nationals as an Emerging Elite Sprinter in the (100,200,400) I Placed 3rd in each of my Heats in all events. I was the only HS Freshman for the class of (2026) to place.
