Nami Inoue '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Nami Inoue and I run both Track and Cross Country at McCutcheon High School. I would love the opportunity to run at a Division II or smaller Division I school. I'm a really devoted teammate and I love to cheer my teammates on. I'm someone who will always be out there on the track or around the meet, screaming and cheering on my teammates. Being a great teammate is something I strive to be, I always set my sights on the sportsmanship award at the beginning of the season because that means I'm a good person and my peers think that of me. I also love to compete, I get fueled on the idea of competing and getting better. My academics will always come first, however it makes me a better student because I know if my grades aren't up to par then I won't have the opportunity to be the student-athlete I want to be. I love my team and I will always put the needs of my team first. I always work to be the best, I want to be great and I always try to run the the group who is better than me, whether it's the older girls or the boys. I love to learn both in school and in my sport.
