Personal Statement
My name is Aya Shehawy. I was born in Pennsylvania. I been living and studying in Egypt until 10th grade, at which point I moved to the United States of America with my family.
On realizing my desire to pursue in dentistry, my family members especially my mother has been very supportive to help me in whatever field I choose. Many mentors find me as a nerd, but I only see that as a compliment rather than an insult. I have learnt to cultivate big dreams, when it comes to studies. So success is my goal and I always try to aim to do my best at school or any field I'm in, hopefully my hard work will pay off in the end.
Some interest s I have got are; reading books, running, and praying. I love to read books, because books can always be true friends. They never demand neither do they complain.
