Cassandra Vega '20 Recruiting Profile

As you can tell by my profile, when I put my mind to something it will get done. I want to live my life to the fullest in college. I want to travel, compete, make a name for myself and make my parents and future school proud. I am extremely competitive both on the track and in the classroom. Though I am undecided in my collegiate major, I find history and English to be my strongest subjects with an acute sense of understanding the American government and law. I am also a journalist and editor of my school newspaper and find poetry and short stories to be other passions in my writing. I am fully aware of the intense competition that exists in the recruitment of track and field athletes, but I believe my heart, work ethic, captivating personality and persistence in the face of adversity would make me a great addition to any team.
