Personal Statement
My name is Julia Ladson I am currently a freshman in highschool at Wilson hall a private school in Sumter SC. I run both cross country and track for my school and have since the 6th grade . I want to run in college and study medicine and eventually become a Plastic Surgeon. Running is the avenue I have chosen to help me reach these goals. Science and Math have always been my favorite subjects which is why, from a very young age, I have wanted to become a doctor specifically a surgeon. My Uncle was an anesthesiologist, and my maternal grandfather was a nuclear scientist. My dad played football at UNC and then attended VMI on a football scholarship. My Mom is an athlete as well.
