Jocelyn Maldonado '21 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to attend a college in which I can continue my journey as a cross country runner. I desire to major in Psychology and minor in business in order to then go to medical school and become a Pediatrician. I have been a very committed and hard working athlete throughout all of my 4 years becoming rookie of the year during freshmen year and team captain afterwards. My integrity, passion, and humility is what I've been able to demonstrate to my coaches throughout high school and plan on continuing to do so throughout my whole life. Motivation and a positive attitude is what has pushed me everyday to do and be better in everything I do and decide to do in my life everyday. As an athlete I always sacrifice anything I have to in order to always do my best and reach those times and places I put my mind to. Academically I will graduate from high school with my Associate's Degree in General Studies and a certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. I also have a 4.0 GPA and will continue to work hard during college by balancing everything academically and in sports staying focused with everything else I involve myself in as I have done throughout my high school career in the past years.
