Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Naa- Norley Hesse and I am a sophomore at Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Virginia.
Before I took a peak interest in running, I always watched over my father, who was also a track athlete. I would always compete in little races with friends as it brought me great joy.
My running career began in 8th grade. I was unable to do track clubs during that year because of covid. Now I am ready and taking track very seriously, and dedicating time for it.
I intend to compete in Division I, but I am not ruling out divisions III and II. I place a high value on academics. My current goal is to major in biology or another science in order to pursue a medical career. At the moment, I carry a 4.167.
