Personal Statement
My name is Payton Tepp. I am the daughter of Gina and Troy Tepp. I am 5??6?? and 115 pounds. I am currently a sophomore attending Stevens Point Area Senior High. I enjoy studying oceanic science and anatomy. I also enjoy participating in cross country and track. I like the physical and mental challenge running brings. Last year, in track, I participated in the state meet. I took 11th place over all in the 100 meter dash as a freshman. Last season in cross country I participated in sectionals, but did not make it to state. This cross country season is nearing the state meet, and I expect I will be participating in it. My coaches have awarded me with many awards such as ??Most Valuable 7th grader/8th grader/freshman/member of the track and cross country team. A goal of mine as a sprinter is to be the State Champ in the 100 meter dash. As a cross country runner, I would also like to be competitive at the state level when in high school. I would also like to be a positive influence and offer good guidance to my teammates. If I were to come to your school I would provide a positive image for your school. I would work hard in my academics and athletics. In addition, I would offer positive advice to other students and athletes. I am planning on paying for college by myself, so I would be interested in financial aid. I am not positive what I would like to major in, but I have an idea. I would like to major with something in the science/medical field. I have always been interested in oceanic biology and anatomy, so I would like major in the science field. No matter what college I go to I will act in a constructive manner, and try my best in my academics and athletics.
