Personal Statement
As a teammate I strive to be a leader both on and off the track. I try to encourage my teammates during practice and watch them during their races. I like to have fun but I also know when it is time to focus and put the work in. In school I try to ask questions when needed and spend time emailing teachers if I still don’t understand something. My goal is to be the first person in my family not only to attend college but also be in a sport. I think that secondary education is extremely importan.
